What Jen is thinking:

    So many wants

This just makes me wanna scrap my knee all over again…. Hah!

    Post marathon

Hahah, well at least it’s over and done with. But really, gotta improve timing la. Very embarassing when I finish past 6 hrs leh

Restarting life, in more ways than one

This post is all about running, seriously.

With 2.5 months to SCM, I am beginning to doubt whether I can finish doing the mother-of-all-runs. I’m not like Mark, who can fly through without having trained at more than an hour each time, nor am I Angie, who would be running her fifth marathon this year. I’m [...]

    Done with running

Well maybe not really. As painful as the run was, I still limped my way through to the finishing line. Doing a marathon takes a lot of courage, much less the fact I barely trained this tIme round, forgot sunscreen, cap, sunnies. A checklist next time, maybe

The final run before D Day

Fingers crossed that I can successfully do a 30km.

    The inevitable upgrade

Exactly a year ago, I made the conscious decision to get a technical running shoe, because obviously wearing a swoosh shoe with nary support does no justice to your ankles or feet, hence I got this. A year on, after clocking only 700km with it, I’m told I have to upgrade, otherwise it would be [...]

    The non-plussed runners

The day before AHM, I suddenly developed an aching body accompanied by a fever – not a good sign. I was desperate to get well for the run. I slept the whole sat away, popped aspirins and panadols. Mum was none too pleased that I was determined to make it. Thankfully when Mark picked me [...]

    *ouch*

The left navicular tarsus hurts like shitzzz….must be all the prodding I’ve been doing recently. Not happy at all.

    Gosh, I’m an ugly runner!

Yah…I sorta knew that long time ago, my face will squish in agony while my body will try its best not to trip over the other foot.

Yup, but I survived the 10km, blimming hot though. Should really consider moving back to starting the run at 7am, half an hour makes all the difference. 2 girls [...]

    The Innovative Run

When sky-high petrol charges start to scare the crap outta me, it’s time to innovate. And by innovate means I don’t drive to East Coast Park to do my 15km, which I’ve thought it’s pretty silly all along (drive to run…dohz), though the route’s pretty (but a nightmare come Nov due to Stand Chart). I [...]
