You might all be interested (or not) on how our trip went. Things to note for ANY trip -

1) When you buy tickets for an event, OF COURSE U WOULD HAVE TO BRING THEM ALONG!

2) If not, you might have to take a 4-hour ride back to pick it up; or buy them at the full price again. It’s times like these when you realise the name “Simon” does not always create magic

3) Sometimes, realisation of that pure stupidity can take a full 20 mins to digest, before a lot of flipping on (our) bed in various states of agony.

4) If, you think, for some reason your passport shouldn’t be seen by any others besides the custom officers (even for a very big head and face looking Jen, then), try slipping in a MYR 20 and see what the officers might say. Bless you when none of the Malaysian officers take and yet you are reminded by the Singapore Customs (and thankfully never proceed to arrest you for attempts of bribery….in MYR)

5) There is a reason why when the custom officer ask you for a thumb print, you don’t ask a question like, “Do I use my thumb?”, cos the officer will respond something to the effect like, “Yah, I get that sometimes, people might wanna use their palm”. I’m sure he was kidding.

6) In any state of undress, you might first wanna check if all the shades are drawn down. Otherwise, Jen is always at hand to help out while you scream in realisation and hide behind the bed.

7) It’s no joke when you have to check that you do not leave out anything when you check out. Thing is, it’s quite a sense of deja vu when you realise you forgot your mobile (of all things) after you leave. Thank goodness it was only 5 mins away into the trip home.

If your room buddy is sound asleep, be prepared that you might not be able to wake him up, no matter how hard you bang the door, how many times you call his mobile (and the room). So the only way, is to run to the girls’ room and whine, and whine, and whine…till you realise you can actually get the staff to help you open the door to your room.

9) We love you for who you are, even if you think you look like Ironman but we think you look more like Kungfu Panda…heee heee

10) There’s probably a good reason why you are afraid of birds, cos you are thinking of evil acts like shaking them off their nests. Otherwise known as karma. Creatures sense fear.
